About This Store

Full Rotation Shop is an online store selling vinyl records. Please note: this webshop is fictitious and operated for educational/portfolio purposes only. No real products are sold, no real payments are processed, and no actual orders are fulfilled.

Applicability

These terms apply to every offer, order, and agreement between Full Rotation Shop and any customer who places an order via our website. Deviations from these terms are only valid if agreed upon in writing. By completing a purchase, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these terms.

Ordering

Orders can be placed through our website at shop.fullrotationrecords.com. The ordering process works as follows:

  • You add products to your shopping cart and proceed to checkout.
  • You enter your delivery and billing details.
  • You review your order and the applicable terms and conditions.
  • You select your payment method and complete the payment via Mollie.

An order confirmation does not yet constitute final acceptance of your order. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order in the event of stock issues, pricing errors, or suspected fraud. In such cases, you will be notified and any payment made will be refunded in full.

Prices and VAT

All prices shown on the website are in euros (EUR) and include applicable VAT, unless stated otherwise. Shipping costs are not included in the product price and are shown separately during checkout before payment is completed.

  • Product prices: as listed on the website at the time of ordering.
  • Shipping costs: calculated at checkout based on your location and order size.
  • VAT: 21% included in all listed prices.

We reserve the right to change our prices at any time. Price changes do not affect orders that have already been confirmed.

Payment

Payments are processed securely through Mollie B.V., our payment service provider. We accept the following payment methods:

  • iDEAL
  • Credit card (Visa, Mastercard)
  • Bancontact

Your order will only be processed after successful payment. We do not store your payment details. All transactions are encrypted and handled in accordance with PCI-DSS standards via Mollie. By proceeding to payment, you confirm that you have reviewed these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy.

Delivery

We aim to ship orders within 3 business days of receiving confirmed payment. Delivery is carried out by PostNL / DHL / your local carrier. Estimated delivery times:

  • Netherlands: 1-3 business days
  • Belgium / Germany: 2-5 business days
  • Rest of EU: 5-10 business days

Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. We are not liable for delays caused by the carrier or circumstances beyond our control. You will receive a shipping confirmation with a tracking link once your order has been dispatched.

Vinyl records are fragile items. All orders are packaged with appropriate protective materials to minimise the risk of damage in transit. If your order arrives damaged, please see Article 8 (Returns and Refunds).

Right of Withdrawal

As a consumer purchasing within the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 calendar days of receiving your order, without giving a reason. To exercise this right:

  • Contact us within 14 days of delivery at fullrotation@gmail.com with your order number and the reason for return.
  • Return the item(s) in their original, undamaged condition and packaging.

Sealed vinyl records that have been opened are exempt from the right of withdrawal under EU consumer law, as they constitute sealed audio recordings. This exception does not apply to damaged or incorrectly sent items.

Returns and Refunds

Outside of the standard right of withdrawal, we accept returns in the following situations:

  • Damaged in transit: The item arrived visibly damaged due to shipping.
  • Incorrect item: You received a different product than ordered.
  • Manufacturing defect: The record has a pressing defect that affects playback.

In these cases, please contact us at fullrotation@gmail.com within 30 days of delivery. Include your order number and, where possible, photos of the damage or defect. We will offer a replacement, store credit, or full refund at our discretion.

Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5-10 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item.

Warranty

Our vinyl records are sourced from reputable distributors and labels. All new records come with a 6-month warranty against manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover:

  • Damage caused by mishandling, improper storage, or incorrect use.
  • Normal wear and tear from regular use.

Second-hand or used records, if applicable, are sold as-is and are not covered by this warranty unless otherwise stated in the product listing.

Liability

Full Rotation Shop is not liable for:

  • Indirect or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use our products.
  • Damage to playback equipment caused by a defective record.
  • Losses resulting from delayed or failed delivery by third-party carriers.

Our total liability to any customer is in all cases limited to the amount paid for the order in question. Nothing in these terms limits liability for gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or any matter for which liability cannot be excluded by law.

Complaints

If you are dissatisfied with your order or our service, please contact us first at fullrotation@gmail.com. We aim to respond to all complaints within 5-10 business days and resolve them fairly and promptly.

If we are unable to reach a satisfactory resolution, you may submit your complaint to the Geschillencommissie (Dutch Disputes Committee) via www.degeschillencommissie.nl, or use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes that cannot be resolved amicably shall be submitted to the competent court in [your city/region], the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer protection law in your country of residence requires otherwise.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions at any time. The most recent version will always be published on our website. Orders placed before any changes will remain subject to the terms that were in force at the time of ordering.
