AuraFold Carry Strap

Description

The AuraFold Carry Strap is a woven nylon shoulder strap with a stainless steel karabiner clip and an integrated silicone bottle holder ring, designed specifically for the AuraFold Bluetooth Speaker. The speaker itself is IPX5 rated and built for outdoor use — the carry system should match that intent. Most portable speaker manufacturers treat the carry accessory as an afterthought. The AuraFold Carry Strap is manufactured to the same material and durability specifications as the speaker it’s designed for, because the strap spends as much time outdoors as the speaker does.

Construction and Load Rating

The stress point on any shoulder strap is the junction between the strap webbing and the attachment hardware — specifically the stitching under dynamic load when a heavy object swings on the strap during movement. The AuraFold Carry Strap addresses this with bar-tacked stitching at all stress points:

– 25 mm wide woven nylon webbing — rated to 15 kg working load, well above the AuraFold speaker weight
– Bar-tacked stitching at all hardware attachment points — the industry standard for load-rated webbing terminations
– Stainless steel karabiner clip rated to 5 kg — gates on aluminium karabiners crack under lateral load
– Adjustable length from 50 to 90 cm via sliding buckle — accommodates shoulder carry and cross-body carry
– Integrated silicone bottle holder ring — grips bottles from 60 mm to 90 mm base diameter
