The AuraFold Solar Panel is a flexible 5W monocrystalline photovoltaic panel with a USB-C output that provides renewable off-grid charging for the AuraFold Bluetooth Speaker and any other USB-C powered device. For multi-day outdoor use where mains charging is unavailable — camping trips, multi-day festivals, extended hikes — the AuraFold Solar Panel provides a daily top-up that significantly extends effective playback time beyond the rated battery capacity of the speaker.

Solar Panel Technology and Output Specification

Consumer solar panels fall into two categories at this form factor: amorphous silicon panels laminated to a flexible backing, and monocrystalline silicon cells laminated in ETFE film. Monocrystalline cells have a higher efficiency per unit area — approximately 22% versus 8-12% for amorphous — which matters when the panel must be compact enough to carry:
